Stefano Marrone

My name is Stefano Marrone and I’m a post-doc @ University of Naples Federico II (Italy). I’ve been a visiting PhD student in the CPG. My research interests are within the sphere of pattern recognition, with applications ranging from image analysis to text processing, hardware design and, more recently, privacy and ethics in AI. I’m currently focusing on adversarial learning and it’s adoption for a “trustworthy AI”.

Before my PhD, I obtained a MSc cum laude and a Bachelor degree in Computer Science Engineering from University of Naples Federico II. In both cases, my thesis work focused on the development of new AI-based solution for breast cancer detection and classification in DCE-MRI.
